Vihari once said that Yes, he does remember every bit of it. He had faced difficulty in adjusting to those conditions initially as the ball was moving a lot. However, after he got settled everything fell in place and he could play his natural game.
Recently, In the first match of the Deodhar Trophy at Delhi’s Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium, Vihari had scored a match-winning 87 not out for India ‘B’ against India ‘A’.

He told that he had already started preparing for India vs Australia tour and, if given an opportunity, will attempt to perform well.
Vihari says his journey has many ups and downs especially when he did not get a chance to play at a higher level in spite of his good performance in the Ranji Trophy. But that is part of history now. Vihari on remembering his days of struggle emotionally told that his mother had sacrificed a lot for him, all this whatever he has achieved today is because of her.

It is something which rubs on to the other players also. It was a good experience to play alongside him at the Oval in those conditions. It gave me a lot of confidence.”
